To increase the scope of application of DIGIweb, DIGI decided to say goodbye to old proprietary protocols and embraces new concepts such as:

• Open API
• Communication via HTTPS protocol
• Data contained in JSON telegrams
• Structural logic based on micro-services
• Internal communication following the most up-to-date standards (Docker, virtualisation, etc…)

This allowed us to eliminate any physical obstacles to allow for the centralization of the solution, while offering the latest software standards for a future-proof solution.

Installation on-premise or cloud to cater for any need

The installation can be adjusted to suit the customer’s needs from a single store to a multi-national solution, to cater for the needs of any type of retail customer.

No restriction to access the software, device-wise or location-wise

Thanks to its web-based capabilities, DIGIweb tears down any obstacle between hardware and software. DIGIweb can be accessed from any device (e.g. scales).

Any device can be a touch point for the software (even non-DIGI devices, such as tablets).

Every user can access their relevant functions from any device and any location.

Maximum security guaranteed

To ensure the new capabilities of DIGIweb, we have reviewed the current standard to maximize the company’s network security. Safety doesn’t only go through proprietary protocols, but through new standards:

• The data exchange between scales and software is secured by tokens
• Network communications are secured by HTTPS protocol
