The Retail Technology Conclave 2008 was organized by the Retailers Association of India in Hyderabad May 6-7, 2008. This is one of the premier trade shows in India for the retail industry with good seniorlevel participation by the CEO's and IT staff from the organized retail Industry.
Essae-Teraoka put up an impressive booth to showcase some of the latest IT trends in the world of retail technology. The booth mimicked an actual store environment with F&V section, meat section, back-end and POS check-out tills. The impressive point was that customers were able to readily understand the application and appreciate the wide range of innovative retail solutions offered by Essae/DIGI.
On display were the complete range of label printing scales, Hi-Touch, e-Label, POS systems, scanner scales, OPOS check-out scale, hanging scales and a wide choice of back-end weighing solutions for distribution centres.
The SM-880 with EL display, Hi-touch and e-Label solution was a big attraction with many customers and they had high appreciation for the wide range of retail solutions on display. Essae-Teraoka would like to thank Mr. Heng from Teraoka Singapore and Mr. Kelvin from Shanghai Teraoka who were at the booth to assist our staff with the demonstrations. The show ended on a positive note with many serious enquiries and prospects from existing and new customers.

FMI Show (May 4-7, MandalayBay Convention Center, Las Vegas)
 The AW-4600AT series and the banding machine RGW-40 received the most leads during the four-day show. NBI presented the SM-780 PC scale in Bench and Self Service models along with Hi-Touch, e-label, SM-300 and other products.
